Team Fortress's 15th Birthday!

On August 24th, Team Fortress turned 15 years old. A whole 15 years since the first version of the class based mod came out in 1996. The nice guys at Valve threw a bit of a party, giving everybody free stuff. Check out the official page for it, HERE. You get a free hat and noisemaker. They also remade some models to be all birthday-like.

They also released a bunch of new weapons in honor of the release of the new Deus Ex game. More info is right HERE. TF2 has recently been made available for free, so have fun with it. It's available HERE.

Valve Released "Dead Air" and "Blood Harvest" Campaigns for L4D2

Valve released the "Dead Air" and "Blood Harvest" Campaigns for free on PC and Mac, but they will be sold, for money, on Xbox 360 along with "Cold Stream" in the upcoming DLC.

And here's the Cold Stream wallpaper:

If you want some backstory to the first L4D, check out this COMIC.

You can also buy L4D2 HERE for Xbox, and HERE for PC/Mac

They are all very cool campaigns, each with their own sets of easter eggs, which can easily be found on google or youtube.

Have fun!

Valve Announces CS:GO

Sorry for the wait guys. HERE is a little gift for being so patient. "Sorry 4 the Wait" by Little Wayne.  No worries, it's free, and best of all, legal. If you don't like hip-hop, then check out the rest of goodmusicallday.com they have some other stuff too.

Anyways, lets get to the article.

Honestly Valve? You spend all your time making great games, that aren't the ones we constantly bitch at you for. Well, I guess it's better than EVEN MORE TF2 HATS.

This new game is one that caught me completely off guard, because it's a follow-up to a game with no story, Counter-Strike (I linked to the Valve source version). It is also one of the most popular games ever, and doesn't need a follow up other than things that could be included in updates.

The new one is called CS:GO, or Counter-Strike:Global Offensive. It's supposed to come out in 2012 sometime, but you can't pre-order or anything, and there's no screenshots other than the logo:

Also, the game will include a lot from the old games, such as classic maps, (de_dust etc.) but will introduce new game modes, matchmaking, leader boards and all that other good stuff.
